Francine Morrissette
Francine Morrissette is a freelance writer from southern Maine who has published articles on a wide range of topics including health, homeschooling, parenting, law, creativity, religion and theology.
She earned a BA in English from the University of Southern Maine, then received a Paralegal certification through an extension of the University of Maine School of Law. Francine's true passion is teaching: she has 15 years experience teaching/leading/coaching groups of all ages from preschoolers to adults. Although she has taught a wide variety of classes ranging from mathematics to handwriting analysis, her favorite subjects to teach (and to study) are history and literature.
Young adult literature offers a wide and wonderful range of action from exciting adventure to quiet introspection. It is a complex genre which offers not only non-stop entertainment but also depth of meaning and excellence of expression.
